Helping Veterans of all services access funding for Hearing Aids and Hearing Care
Did you know?
UK Veterans under the age of 75 are 3.5x more likely to report difficulty hearing?
With the UK Veterans Hearing Help, we will be able to guide you along the process of receiving funding for your new Hearing Aids and Hearing Care!
Contact Us and find out all about the process!
Ben, Sam’s husband, is ex-services, former Army, Royal Artillery, so needless to say he has a hearing loss or as they say in the RA family Gunner Ear! His experience and the ongoing service of our Armed Forces have made us proud of who you are.
We wanted to do something tangible that could help you, and recognise your armed forces service. We decided that providing the very best hearing equipment and care would go some way to doing just that. We have worked closely with the British Legion to help ex-service members get access to the Veterans Hearing Fund and the very best equipment and care available for them and their needs.
Veterans Hearing Fund
The Veterans Hearing Fund (VHF) which is run by the British Legion, is a Government-financed fund which provides support to veterans who acquired hearing loss during their service. The fund is open to those who have a wellbeing need that cannot be met through statutory services (such as the NHS).
The British Legion Hearing Fund may be used to purchase hearing aids, peripherals (accessories) or therapies (e.g., lip reading, or tinnitus therapy). We have been working closely with both the British Legion and Veterans Associations to help Veterans access the fund. In order for the Legion to determine whether a hearing loss was acquired during service, veterans who would like to apply to the programme must submit some documents. We have helped many Veterans across the UK through the application process and ensured that they have been provided with equipment that meets their needs.
